Bustle & Bows Club

About Us

Bustle & Bows has a separate private classroom located at the rear of the shop where students can enjoy their lesson in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The adjoining courtyard provides a tranquil spot for lunch or a coffee break between stitching.

We are very proud to offer our students a wide variety of classes and a selection of over 30 regular teachers from around Australia who are passionate about their embroidery and happily share their knowledge and creative talents with their students.

Our classes are scheduled in advance for a twelve month period and include; Stumpwork, Wool Embroidery, Ribbon Embroidery, Thread Painting, Smocking & Heirloom Sewing, Crewel & Surface Embroidery, Goldwork, Felting, Beading, Needleweaving, Crochet, Mountmellick, Crazy Patchwork and Children’s Classes.

TUTOR JAN KERTON (click here for full details)

Many will know Jan from her projects featured in Inspirations magazine. She continues to delight us with new designs and techniques and is very popular with students. Jan specializes in stumpwork embroidery, and will assist students with any project in these sessions, be it a new design or an unfinished project.

Catherine has a unique style and is a true artist. Her dear little animal designs delight all and she has many talents that she is happy to share with students in these workshops. She specializes in wool, crewel and ribbon embroidery.
